Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Thursday, February 14, 2019 – The TKO organization would like to announce the nomination of Mr. Andy Poulos as Director of Athlete Relations.  Since the return of TKO in August 2016, he has been informally involved in the organization and played a role in many important projects.  A longtime friend of TKO president Stephane Patry, Poulos will now take on an important role in the most prestigious MMA promotion in Canada.

Stephane Patry was proud of this important acquisition for TKO: “Andy and I have been discussing working closer together for quite some time now and we will now have the opportunity to do so.  He is a tireless worker and a smart businessman.  Our friendship and our similar visions of the industry will prove to bring added value to TKO.  Andy knows our sport very well, having been involved in the promotion of events and helping elite level athletes.

Poulos’ main responsibility is to be implicated with the athletes, ensuring that they are getting the most out of their experience with TKO and that they are on board with all aspects related to the production of the events.  His professionalism and understanding of our athletes’ needs will help cement that relationship.  I have been involved in mixed martial arts for over 10 years and I am honoured to join TKO in this key role.  Stephane and I are old friends and I’m confident that with our similar vision of the industry, TKO will continue to be a pioneer in the evolution of mixed martial arts. This organization will continue to be at the forefront of game changing and exciting new developments.

In order to avoid all potential conflicts of interest in his new role with TKO, Poulos will set aside his involvement with the professional mixed martial artists whom he was assisting with their career development.
