Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Monday, January 28, 2019 – It is with great anticipation that TKO announced its 2019 schedule and with great pride that we selected Quebec City and the Videotron Centre to host the inaugural event of the new year : « TKO46 : PESSOA vs. GANE ».

However, we have been faced with circumstances beyond our control which occurred in a short time span over the last few days.  Over the last 20 years, our reputation as an organization has been built around the quality of the events we offer our fans.  These circumstances include an incredible amount of injuries to our key athletes, thus forcing us to reschedule our event by a few weeks.

After consulting with our partners, the Videotron Centre, our main broadcasters UFC FIGHT PASS and FIGHT NETWORK as we all as our athletes, we have determined that Thursday, March 14 is the ideal date to deliver an event that will live up to the expectations of or fans both here in Quebec as well as those which follow us live on television around the world.

This type of decision is never easy to make but we are convinced that this was the best thing to do to ensure that TKO46 will be a historic and memorable event for all.

Tickets purchased for February 8 will be valid for March 14 with no action required by the purchaser.  More details regarding the full card will be announced shortly.  The main event of the evening is unchanged as the world heavyweight championship will at stake when undefeated Brazilian Raphael Pessoa challenges the undisputed champion Ciryl Gane of Paris, France.  Quebec City superstar Jade Masson-Wong will fight for the women’s 125 pound championship against Germany’s Mandy Böhm while Russian born Montreal Yoni Sherbatov takes on the reigning world flyweight champion Malcolm Gordon.

The bouts that remain unchanged are: RAPHAEL PESSOA vs. CIRYL GANEYONI SHERBATOV vs. MALCOLM GORDONMANDY BÖHM vs. JADE MASSON-WONGALAN BAUDOT vs. TODD STOUTEDAVID DAIGNEAULT vs. DANY MALLETTEBRUNO LURETTE vs. JULIEN LEBLANCDOMINIC LACROIX vs. BRANDON LEECOLE CROSSWAITHE vs. CEDRIC MONGEON.
