Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Saturday January 12 2019 – Some terrible news today as TKO Bantamweight champion Nate Maness (10-0-0) was injured in wrestling practice and suffered a partial tear of the MCL in his left knee. The champ in now unfortunately out of his TKO championship fight against France’s Taylor Lapilus at TKO46 on February 8 in Quebec City.

The TKO organization has reached out to Lapilus to offer him another opponent for TKO46 but he decided to wait for the Maness fight at a future TKO event.

Updates on the injury will be sent to TKO in the next week and if the injury doesn’t require surgery, the Lapilus-Maness clash will be moved to TKO47: JOURDAIN vs. RONSON in April.
