Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Tuesday January 8 2019 – The TKO organisation continues to scout and sign international talent from around the globe with the acquisition of Japanese flyweight superstar Takashi “Mouchu” Matsuba (11-3-1, 1 KO, 4 submissions). The current Grachan flyweight champion is an amazing addition to the division. TKO president Stephane Patry was thrilled with yet another impressive signing in this weight class; “I think we showed how serious we were with developing this exciting 125 lbs division. Our champion Malcolm Gordon is one of the best in the world at Flyweight. We then added top-prospect Yoni Sherbatov and now this exciting and explosive Japanese warrior. 2019 will be a great year for the division. Look for Matsuba to probably fight the winner of Sherbatov/Gordon next!“
Known for his exciting style of fighting, Matsuba is a champion in his home country of Japan and he was looking to add international exposure to his already impressive resume. Before turning pro, the Japanese star went 11-1 as an amateur.
