Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Tuesday July 17th 2018 – After seeing his August 2nd fight with Charles Hupperetz fizzle out when the latter suffered an injury in training, Louis “The Mad Prince” Jourdain (4-2-0, 1 KO, 1 sub) was faced with an important decision when it came to the next step in his career.

Jourdain has been out of action for close to a year and has spent his time sharpening his skills in order to be at his best upon his return to the cage.  Despite being only 21 years of age, Jourdain has already has 6 pro bouts but has come out on the losing end of 2 his last 3.  He was ready to make the climb to featherweight for the fight with Hupperetz but when that fight fell out and an opportunity in his regular weight class, bantamweight, opened up for September 21 in Quebec City, the young man jumped on it.

That opportunity comes in the form of Peruvian born Sebastian Ruiz (4-1-0, 4 KO). Every TKO fan remembers Ruiz’s performance last May when, as a last minute replacement, he almost shocked the world and came close to winning the TKO Bantamweight Title.  Ruiz showed his incredible standup skills on that night and will look to do the same come TKO44.

Both men have excellent Muay Thai skills so you can bet this fight will be fireworks from start to finish… the question is just how long will it go as this one could be over quick!

Tickets for TKO44 are currently on sale at the Videotron Centre box office, by calling 1-855-790-1245 or online at
