With a schedule totaling 8 events in 2018, TKO is always on the lookout for athletes making a name for themselves on the amateur scene and who show that they are ready to make the big jump to the pro ranks.

Enter Sherbrooke’s Alexandre Ouellette, who is the very definition of the above. Over the course of his amateur career, Ouellette has compiled a 10-3 record, winning 5 championships along the way, and hasn’t lost since 2013.

After watching him compete live in recent weeks, TKO President Stephane Patry met with Ouellette and his team and is proud to announce today that after signing a multi-fight contract with the organization, the young star will be making his debut later this summer “Ouellette is one of those very special athletes. Extremely talented and exciting, he always gives a good show – he is a very bright future in our sport. Just before his last amateur bout, he came up to me and predicted he was going to impress us, and then after he won, he had hundreds of fans in attendance chanting TKO, TKO, TKO, that was also very special.

Although he competed mainly as a lightweight, he will make the transition to featherweight in the pro ranks.
