MANESS INJURED, ARNETT TO DEFEND BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE AGAINST LAURENTINO
Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Wednesday April 18th 2018 – TKO Management was recently advised that Nate Maness had suffered a hand injury and, as a result, would be unable to compete in his scheduled bantamweight championship fight against champion Jesse Arnett on May 4th in Quebec City at TKO43.
Finding a suitable late replacement is never an easy task however that is compounded when the man one must step into the cage with is Jesse “The Big Cat” Arnett (14-4-0, 3 KO, 9 sub), who is currently riding an 11-fight win streak. After a week of intensive research and negociations, Brazil’s Luis Rafael Laurentino (32-1-0, 9 KO, 19 sub) stepped up to the challenge.
At only 24 years old, Laurentino will be competing internationally for the first time after completely dominating in his home country. Having only gone the distance 4 times in 33 career fights, fans can be sure Laurentino intends to make quick work of the reigning champion and staking his claim as being one of the best bantamweights in the world.
