DUFORT TO MAKE WELTERWEIGHT DEBUT AGAINST BAIKIE
Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Monday January 8th 2018 – Last December, Michael Dufort (4-2-0, 4 sub) was unable to compete at TKO41 after having weight cutting issues which landed him in the hospital. After that incident, it was decided that he would no longer compete at 155 pounds and would transition to the welterweight division (170 pounds).
Ironically, TKO41 was the night on which the career of Collin Baikie (2-2-0, 2 KO) was relaunched when he scored what many considered an upset as he dominated David Daigneault.
At TKO42 on Friday, February 23, it will be Dufort’s slick submissions against Baikie’s explosive striking in a contrast that is the very definition of the expression “styles make fights”.
Ticket information for TKO42 will be announced shortly.
